Homework Help
Angevine has a homework help program called "A-Zone". A-Zone is an after school program that runs from 3:30 to 5:00 pm in the Angevine Media Center. The goal of A-Zone is to provide a comfortable place for students to ask questions and get caught up on homework in a fun, relaxing environment. The help sessions are run by dedicated teachers, biliterate tutors and paraeducators. Many of our teachers recommend this program to students who need some extra time to improve their skills, or to students who have gotten behind in their studies due to school absences. Additionally, students can hop the bus to the Lafayette Public Library after school to use the library's tutoring center.
If at any time you feel your child might benefit from some extra assistance, please contact your child's teacher. Our teachers are always willing and able to help you meet your child's specific needs, and they can provide more information on these and other academic enrichment programs |
