Our Talented and Gifted (TAG) program cultivates the academic careers of our students who continually excel. The program addresses the individual needs of Angevine students who score at or above the 95th percentile on the Colorado Student Assessment Program (CSAP) test consistently in one of a number of identifiable areas.
TAG students are challenged in their identified areas and offered opportunities to improve their knowledge and skills in those areas. Angevine extends curriculum offerings and instructional strategies that provide a varied approach to content, process and product to challenge students. TAG provides students with a before- and after-school program that includes extended learning opportunities and academic competitions.
The TAG program is structured to meet the needs of identified TAG students and the parents of TAG students. However, the TAG program is not only open to official TAG students. All of our before- and after-school programs are available to the entire Angevine student body. We encourage all of our students to seek out and participate in these unique learning opportunities to explore new learning possibilities and enhance their areas of academic expertise.
